Politically Incorrect

In a local sports bar trivia quiz the other night, I lost by one point. The question was, where do women mostly have curly hair? Apparently, it's Africa

One of the other questions was to name two things commonly found in cells. It appears that Mexicans and African Americans is not the correct answer.

I've heard that Apple has scrapped their plans for the new children's-oriented iPod after realizing that iTouch Kids is not a good product name.

A new Muslim clothing shop opened here in Kansas City, but I've been banned from it after asking to look at some bomber jackets

You can say lots of bad things about pedophiles but at least they drive slowly past schools

A friend of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend AND her twin. I asked, "How can you tell them apart?" He said, "Her brother has a moustache"

Being a modest man, when I checked into my hotel on a recent trip, I said to the lady at the registration desk “I hope the porn channel in my room is disabled." to which she replied, "No, it's regular porn, you sick bastard.”

The red cross knocked at my door asking if I could help towards the floods in Pakistan . I said I would love to, but my hose only reaches the bottom of the driveway.

The Palin bashing continues... sort of?

Over at aol/huffpo news there is an article about the Sarah Palin email fiasco. The headline of the article indicates that the Sarah Palin emails were written at about an 8.5 grade level, or middle school. Which sets a negative tone for the article right off the bat.

But once you get into it, it is the same basic level that most CEO's write at. It also points out that the same analysis that determined Sarah Palin's writing level measured the Abraham Lincoln "Gettysburg Address" spech at a 9.0 grade level and the Martin Luther King "I have a Dream" speech at 8.8 grade level.

The guy scoring these writings is a moderate democrat who started out wanting to find that Sarah Palin is a borderline idiot, but walked away with a different impression saying,"She came in as a solid communicator," and "She's very concise. She gives clear orders. Her sentences and punctuations are logical". Well now, isn't that a shocker. At least he was open minded enough to evaluate this fairly.

Also keep in mind that emails are not something most people spend a lot of time on. At work, my emails are short and to the point. Who really wants to read a two page email over a simple subject that requires only a sentance or two?

And, unless I'm mistaken, don't most communications courses teach people to write in clear, concise language that most people will be able to understand? It sounds like the Palin emails accomplish this and more.

It doesn't seem like there is much to rip into Palin about in these thousands of emails. What a waste of time a resources. It's kind of funny how news organizations will put so much effort into trying to discredit a private citizen, yet the president of the United States can lie, cheat, hang out with thugs and criminals and it gets ZERO press coverage. What a joke the media has become.

I got this in an email today...

And it was too good not to share... It's a sign from somewhere in Alaska...

The Sarah Palin email adventure...

Through the freedom of information act, several organizations forced the State of Alaska to release almost 25,000 emails associated with Sarah Palin's time as Governor of Alaska.

The washington post is asking readers to help them dig through the emails to find anything that may be scandalous or in anyway newsworthy. This is really sad. It shows that the washington post is a very biased and extremely desperate piece of crap.

I can't ever remember a "media" outlet going to such extremes to try and dig up dirt on an American Citizen. And at this point, that is what Sarah Palin is. She isn't a candidate for President, Vice President, Senator or even dog catcher. She is just a regular person like me and you.

So what will happen if they don't find anything they can twist into dirt? Do you think they will apologize to Palin? That will never happen, ever. If this attempt fails they will find some other tactic to try and gather their dirty laundry.

The washington post is pathetic. One would think that what is supposed to be a professional news organization would be able to better conceal their irrational fears of a strong, intelligent Conservative Woman. But they can't, they are completely out of their minds over Sarah Palin. They are so desperate to find something, anything, to slow down the momentum Sarah Palin is building that they are willing to sink to even lower levels than the media has ever been to. And that's saying alot. The media of the last few years have proven that they will lie, steal and cheat for obama and his socialist agenda.

One of our most basic rights is freedom of the press.
The FIRST Amendment -
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
In this day and age, that must mean that the press is free from telling the truth and free to kiss the ass of democrats in general and obama specifically whenever and however they want.

Journalism is dead. It has been since the "media" gave obama a pass on every single issue. Since they refused to report the facts about a candidate that was unqualified and worse, had ties to some of the most radical and dangerous people in chicago. Journalism died when the media decided to tell us what they wanted us to hear instead of the truth.

These scumbags aren't worthy of digging through Sarah Palin's septic tank, much less official emails of her time as Governor...

I got this in an email today...

I got this in an email today and I had to share it. This is funny I don't care who you are. Unless you are a terrorist scumbag, then it might not be that funny.

An email from a friend...

This is supposed to be a joke, but it sure seems like a fairly accurate representation of the media these days.

A Harley biker is riding by the zoo in Washington , DC when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage.

Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to slaughter her, under the eyes of her screaming parents.

The biker jumps off his Harley, runs to the cage and hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch.

Whimpering from the pain the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the biker brings her to her terrified parents, who thank him endlessly.

A reporter has watched the whole event. The reporter addressing the Harley rider says, 'Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I've seen a man do in my whole life.'

The Harley rider replies, 'Why, it was nothing, really, the lion was behind bars. I just saw this little kid in danger and acted as I felt right.'

The reporter says, 'Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm a journalist, and tomorrow's paper will have this story on the front page...

So, what do you do for a l iving and what political affiliation do you have?'

The biker replies, 'I'm a U.S. Marine and a Republican.'

The journalist leaves.

The following morning the biker buys the paper to see news of his actions, and reads, on the front page:

U.S. MARINE ASSAULTS
AFRICAN IMMIGRANT
AND STEALS HIS LUNCH

That pretty much sums up the media's approach to the news these days
