mexican executed in Texas...

Let me start this out by saying WAY TO GO GOV. PERRY!

Texas Governor, Rick Perry, refused to give in to pressure from obama or anyone else. He did the right thing for the people of Texas, especially the victim's family.

This illegal alien, humberto leal, brutally raped and killed a sixteen year old girl in 1995. And when I say brutally, that is exactly what I mean. Here is a description of the crime scene from court documents...

Adria Sauceda, 16, his victim, was found naked by authorities, according to court documents.

"There was a 30- to 40-pound asphalt rock roughly twice the size of the victim's skull lying partially on the victim's left arm," court documents read. "Blood was underneath this rock. A smaller rock with blood on it was located near the victim's right thigh.”

A "bloody and broken" stick roughly 15 inches long with a screw at the end of it was also protruding from the girl's vagina, according to the documents.

This guy was an animal and he deserved to die for this crime. Talking to a mexican authority after he was arrested shouldn't have had anything to do with the outcome of this case. The evidence and the brutality of this crime determined this thug's fate.

Even the supreme court of the United States was petitioned on behalf of this case. Their ruling was this...

In a 5-4 decision an hour before the execution, the majority wrote, “We have no authority to stay an execution in light of an 'appeal of the President,' presenting free-ranging assertions of foreign policy consequences, when those assertions come unaccompanied by a persuasive legal claim.”

Why the decision was 5 - 4 is beyond belief. You would think that even a liberal judge would be able to figure this out.

We are a soverign Nation. We have laws. When those laws are broken, especially to this degree, no treaty ever devised should be considered. What should be considered is the affect this crime has had on the family members of the innocent victim in this case.

Do you think other countries care about treaties or foreign policies when an American citizen brutally kills one of their citizens? I doubt it. Americans are locked up in mexico all the time without access to lawyers or American consulate people, for crimes much less heinous than this one.

I applaud Governor Perry for doing the right thing. He is a man of integrity, unlike obama, who has no class and no balls.
