obama Gets 30% of Americans Certain to Support Re-Election in Economy Poll

It's kind of strange to me that "Americans are growing more dissatisfied". I truly don't get it. This guy hasn't done a single positive thing for this Country. Nothing. He has done nothing since day one except try to destroy every thing he possibly can in the shortest amount of time. He has looted our Country for his own benefit and the benefit of his friends and supporters, while making sure that it will take years to recover from the damage he has done.

America burns while he plays golf and goes on vacation. I have been dissatisfied since before election day. Anyone who did any research at all would have been an idiot to support him. And now that EVERYONE knows he is a socialist thug, how does he have ANY support for 2012? It doesn't make sense...

By Julianna Goldman - Forbes

Americans are growing more dissatisfied with President barack obama’s handling of the economy and say it will be hard to vote to re-elect him without seeing significant progress over the next year and a half.

By a margin of 61 percent to 37 percent, a Bloomberg National Poll conducted June 17-20 shows Americans say they believe that obama will have had his chance to make the economy “substantially better” by the end of 2012.

Only 30 percent of respondents said they are certain to vote for the president and 36 percent said they definitely won’t. Among likely independent voters, only 23 percent said they will back his re-election, while 36 percent said they definitely will look for another candidate.

“As far as the economy goes, I don’t see that he has delivered on the change that he promised,” said Sharon Ortiz, a 38-year-old independent voter from Hampton, Virginia, who supported obama in 2008. “The jobs that he promised -- I haven’t seen it.”

At the same time, Americans are skeptical that Republican control of the White House and Congress will be a better prescription for their economic wellbeing. Sixty percent said that any Republican candidate will need to move so far to the right on fiscal and social issues to win their party’s nomination that it will be very hard to back the nominee

Freshman Congressman Leads Charge Against Obama Recess Appointments

Why does this have to be left to the freshman congressmen? This should be a concern to ALL congressmen. Republicans and democrats. These types of appointments should never be done. It circumvents the entire process, a process that is in place for many valid reasons. These appointees should be vetted and their confirmation voted on. Allowing obama (or any president) to continue to throw the process out of the window is unacceptable. Especially in the case of obama, who has a history of choosing radical, socialist thugs for positions of power.

by Lacey Halpern - FoxNews

Freshman Congressman Jeff Landry, R-La., says that President Obama is misusing recess appointments, and he's going to do something about it.

"When the president puts up nominees, they go through the confirmation process, and the senate blocks them or doesn't confirm them, and then he waits for a recess appointment just to appoint those people. He is circumventing the Constitution," said Landry on Fox News Saturday.

"When we have 9 percent unemployment we don't want appointees by the president who are going to do more to stifle this economy," added Congressman Landry.

To attempt to keep that from happening, Landry has drafted a letter that was signed by more than 70 freshman congressmen, saying that they would hold sessions in shifts to keep the House and Senate from going into recess, starting with their next scheduled break in August.

"I think it's not only an important issue for me, but a lot of my freshmen colleagues who came to Washington to hold this administration and this federal government accountable. It's our responsibility," said Landry.

Congressman Landry says the Senate needs to take responsibility as well.

"Look the senate hasn't done much this year, so I don't see why they can't take up his nominees and go through the confirmation process," said Lee.

You can see the list of freshmen who have signed onto the pledge on Landry's website.

White House Adds New Position to Deal with Unfavorable Online Media

I think I'm going to be ok here. They say this guy will get you if you post something that is untrue. Everything I post about the guy is absolutely true.

Like the 300 or 400 times I have said obama is a compulsive liar, true. When I have said he is a narcissistic scumbag that hates America, again, all true. All the times I posted that he is a socialist that is hell bent on destroying our Country... all true. when I've said obama is an unqualified pretender who is in over his head... 100% TRUE.

This guy Jesse Lee is going to have a hard time finding negative things about obama that AREN'T true. And one other quick thing, fuck obama.

By Chris O'Shea - FishbowlNY

The White House has named Jesse Lee to a new position within its communications department titled Director of Progressive Media & Online Response. According to the huffington post, Lee will essentially be responsible for building up Obama’s online presence as he prepares for his reelection bid, and squashing any negative stories:

The post is a new one for this White House. Rapid response has usually been outsourced to the Democratic National Committee (DNC), if not done on an ad-hoc basis by administration officials. And it signals that the White House will be adopting a more aggressive defense of the president and his policies as his re-election campaign gears up.
If you’re going to post something online about obama that isn’t true, Lee is going to be the one to handle you. Considering that Lee’s first tweet about his new position included a picture of The Terminator, we suggest you watch what you say OR BE DESTROYED.

Okay that was a little dramatic, but you get the idea.

My Cousin Barack Obama and Our ObamaCare Family Feud

Milton Wolf is a badass. Go check out his blog if you get a chance.

It got to suck for obama to be dissed by his own family, but sometimes that's what you get. Especially when you have a complete disregard for the law, the Constitution and the will of the American People. obamacare is a disaster for our Country. It is going to destroy the best medical system in the world and replace it with a european style socialized system that will rely on rationing and second rate care.

Don't believe me? Read the words of an actual Doctor and obama's cousin...

By Milton R. Wolf M.D. - FoxNews

When Barack Obama and I first met he had already become president and was furiously erecting the government-controlled health care system that bears his name and I had already begun a very public crusade to save America from it. Fate would never reunite our mothers who grew up together as young girls, cousins and friends, after they were separated decades ago, but now their sons bridged a divide in our family that was created by decisions not our own. It’s not often that a president’s most vocal critic comes from his own family, but I believe the inviolable oath I took to my patients demands that I oppose ObamaCare.

Today, ObamaCare is on the ropes—in the courts, and in terms of public opinion. While the Supreme Court denied Virginia’s petition to hear its ObamaCare lawsuit on an expedited basis earlier this month, this case will soon be heard by the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. In a more high-profile case, Judge Roger Vinson ruled the individual mandate unconstitutional. This lawsuit, which was filed by more than half the states in the union and led by Florida, will be heard in the U.S. appeals court in Atlanta in June. And in poll after poll, it has become clear that more than one year after ObamaCare’s passage, the American people strongly reject it. The fundamental flaw at the core of ObamaCare is the mistaken belief that the government can spend your dollars more effectively than you can. This tragically pessimistic belief views all Americans with suspicion as either incompetent or unrighteous but either way in need of big-government control.

Sadly missing from the national health care debate was an honest discussion of the origins of our health care system’s shortcomings. Let me be clear, while we certainly have problems, America still has the finest heath care system in the world. That patients flee their government-run systems -- like Great Britain’s and Canada’s -- and flock to America for our medical miracles should be an obvious clue to not recreate their failures; obvious to everyone, that is, except ObamaCare supporters.

While the Constitution does not give the federal government the authority to interfere with our health care, the big-government types have been at work for decades and have, by any fair assessment, wreaked havoc. The first health care waiver was granted in 1929 when the American Medical Association successfully lobbied that Blue Cross be exempt from certain regulations and taxes. Thus began the era of crony health care where Big Government’s friends were more equal than the rest of us.

In the following decades, Republicans’ and Democrats’ health care intrusions fueled increasing costs which priced more and more Americans out of the market. Many of the problems we face today are a direct result of those bad laws. The 1942 wage controls (and later tax laws), for example, forced the devastating marriage of health insurance to employment. Ask anyone denied employment or trapped in a bad job because of a medical condition how well that’s working out for them. Meanwhile state insurance monopolies create artificial barriers to insurance portability, increase costs dramatically and are responsible for 1 out of 4 uninsured Americans. The list goes on and on and the big-government type’s solution to these bad laws is always the same: more laws!

To call ObamaCare a doubling down on these government failures is a probably a betrayal of basic math skills -- it’s more like a quadrupling down. ObamaCare mandates that every free citizen purchase state-sanctioned insurance while it increases taxes (on everything from tampons and tanning salons to gold and the sale of your home); it increases spending even more; it turns health insurance companies into public utilities; it eliminates proven free-market reforms and it sets in place the mechanism for health care rationing. What’s more, ObamaCare has been ruled unconstitutional.

The unkeepable promises of ObamaCare are, as we say in medicine, too numerous to count, and are already collapsing. You can keep your current doctor and your current insurance. No tax increases. No rationing. Reduce the deficit. Four million new jobs created -- “400,000 almost immediately.” Public hearings. These are the pathetic peddlings of false hope.
