Dow up today... 430 points

Wow, what a change from yesterday. You know what the biggest difference was? obama wasn't flapping his yap all over the place. He opened his mouth yesterday while the Dow was down 300 points and while he talked it fell another 300+ points. When will the guy learn just to shut up?

I saw this picture over at The Feral Irishman and thought I would borrow it.

It's incredible really, our credit rating has survived some very trying times and stood strong. It has never met a group of socialists like this before though. Couple the fact that obama and his gang of thugs are complete idiots with their socialist ways and it is a recipe for disaster.

It's also interesting that these assholes refuse to take any of the blame for our current fiscal nightmare. They continue to blame Bush, or the oil spill, or the Japan earthquake, anything but their own bumbling, stumbling, idiot selves.

Remember what I said yesterday about the ammo, beans and rice? I wasn't kidding. Stock up people. We are headed for some very dark days, don't be unprepared...

The Dow drops 634.76 points today...

The Dow dropped 634 points or 5.55 percent of it's value today. It was the biggest drop since December 2008.

Do you think this doesn't affect you? That it is only the Wall Street fat cats that are being hurt? If you have a 401K at work, think again. Chances are, your 401K has lots of stock market investments going on.

There are many factors that contribute to the rise and fall of the stock market. In this particular case it can all be blamed on the complete mismanagement of our economy by obama and congress. The downgrading of our credit rating is 100% the fault of this administration and those in congress without the guts to do the right thing for this Country.

We are in some real trouble here people. Buckle up, it's going to be a bumpy ride. I would suggest stocking up on ramen noodles, rice, beans and ammo. I think we are going to be needing all of them soon, very soon...

Range Day June 17th, 2011

Me, Big Mullet, Joe Texan and our Doctor all went our to the range yesterday. It was raining when we got there so we did some pistol shooting since we could fire from under cover.

I didn't write down all the different pistols we shot, but we had a good time. I do know there were 3 .38s and a .45. The Doc brought out a couple of the .38's and the other belongs to Joe Texan. And the .45 is Big Mullet's.

After the rain stopped we moved over to a 50 yard range to shoot some good old .22. I brought out the Mossberg Plinkster. I haven't fired it since I got the scope installed. Big Mullet brought out a badass CZ .22 rifle that also has a .17 HMR barrel. We only shot .22 out of it though. Joe Texan had his Ruger 10/22 and the Doc had some really cool old .22 rifle that none of us had ever seen.

We were playing around with different ammo on Big Mullet's CZ. It's funny, I never thought much about .22 ammo. It's not like you are shooting 300 yards. But at 50 yards there was a big difference between the cheap ammo from Walmart that runs $12 bucks for a box of 500 and the more expensive Remington and CCI. With some of the costlier ammo, I put 5 rounds in a spot you could cover with a dime. It was an interesting experiment.

I got the Mossberg Plinkster sighted in. And Joe Texan broke out his .308 and got it sighted in too.
