Actually, I guess demolition is the opposite of progress, but you know what I mean.
It's going a little slower than I would like but I'm trying to minimize the mess and the noise. And it would be nice to have some reusable materials at the conclusion of this too.
We should have all of the existing walls down tomorrow and the majority of the mess cleaned up. I'm also going to have to fix a toilet and hang a couple of light fixtures. It's amazing the different skills you can accumulate when you spend a lifetime being too poor to hire stuff out.
I'm hoping we can start making actual progress (painting and flooring) next week. She is scheduled to open on September 1st. I don't want to be in a mad dash to have stuff done on the last day of August.
