While the headline makes this sound manly and cool, it's not quite what you think. Zuckerberg isn't actually going hunting, stalking his prey, and making a well practiced shot to take down dinner.
Nope, he is no Ted Nugent. It seems that instead, Zuckerberg goes out to some guy's farm and slits the throat of an animal, probably one that is tied to a post. I'll admit, not just anyone could slit an animals throat, but there isn't much sport in hunting down your groceries while it is tied to a fence post. Actually, now that I think about it, it just seems a little weird.
And what is the purpose of him making this public knowledge? Is he trying to appear to be less nerdy and some kind of a tough guy? Or is he actually trying to promote healthier eating habits? The tough guy aspect of this is lacking a little, slitting the throat of a goat tied to a post is a lot like clubbing a baby seal. And instead of being less nerdy, to me, it makes him appear sort of Howard Hughesesque. How long before we hear about Zuckerberg living in a one room apartment, naked, eating out of tin cans?
Ted Nugent is a badass. He actually hunts what his family eats, using skills learned through hard work and dedication.
Maybe Zuckerberg should put down the mouse and get out doors. Experience nature. Learn some life skills. Maybe Ted Nugent could take him out and show him what killing your own food is really all about...
